PLANTING DAY RE-SCHEDULED DUE TO PREDICTED INCLEMENT WEATHER!

Cassie and I made the difficult decision today to postpone planting this Sunday given the grave inclement weather that is predicted to begin tomorrow (Saturday) thru Monday. We have been looking forward to this day for a few months, but we realize we are only postponing and not completely canceling this. Edgewood Community Garden

The Edgewood Community Garden is located on the upper field at the Edgewood Recreation Center at 300 Evarts Street, N.E. The community garden is sponsored by the Friends of Edgewood Recreation Center, a 501(c)(3) non-profit. The community garden currently has 10 public plots open to Edgewood neighbors and friends, including a vegetable garden, an herb garden, and a berry garden patch. These plots can be harvested by anyone in the community because of the generous support we have received from private individual donors, foundations, and businesses.
